An absolutely charming pair of vintage French chairs, perhaps from the 1950s, upholstered with antique 18th or 19th century botanical wool tapestry. The chairs frames have original cream colored paint with dark gold accents. The wool tapestry upholstery is old and dark with age however still beautiful and gorgeous. This is a unique vintage find that will lend character and sophistication to any space. The backrests of the chairs are upholstered in salmon peach silk fabric. Note the water stain on the fabric on the bottom left corner of one chair, see last photo. Measurements 37.25"H x 18"W x 18"D In as found condition. Chair frames are stable. The old wool tapestry upholstery shows it's age and is dark. It has been vacuumed.
