A charming vintage mid 20th century Chinese elm bench with a dark brown woven rattan insert and C-shaped cloudlike carvings around the base of the seat. Pierced fretwork carving is also present and adds a decorative touch to this functional bench. It is perfect at the foot of a bed or in an entryway, for taking off your shoes. The beautiful elm wood was stained a mahogany color when this piece was created. The wood has a smooth satin finish and the elm woodgrain is visible.
