A unique old carved wood door latch that was created by the Dogon people in Mali, Africa. At some point in time it was salvaged and mounted on a custom modern metal stand. The carving on stand measures 26" tall. The hand-carved female figure is flanked by children. Such an interesting accent piece for any space! Condition commensurate with age and use. Scratches in the wood. There is a chip in the figure's right foot, see photos.
