A beautiful vintage 1980s neoclassical style writing desk by Maitland Smith for Lineage Home Furnishings (subsidiary of Drexel) expertly crafted out of wood, leather, iron and brass. The top is tooled brown leather with gold embossing and has two drawers with lion head pulls, lined with marble paper. The base is crafted out of iron and brass with faux bamboo legs and crossed arrow supports, accented by rosettes. The top desk portion is removable from the base for ease of transport.
