A simply stunning pair of classic mid-century modern 1978 McGuire bamboo lounge chairs with McGuire trademark rawhide binding. Arms and feet show signs of wear and use, see photos, but overall in great condition considering they are 45+ years old! Comes with two sets of cushions! Styled for the 21st century with new pale linen look seat cushions with Kravet "Reva Blue" bamboo design down pillows. Also included are the ORIGINAL red wool cushions in like new condition. All cushions are zippered if you want to have new slipcovers made. Measures 28"high x 28"wide x 31"deep Arm height is 22 inches; seat height is 17 inches. Condition commensurate with age and use. A very sturdy set with no wiggle. Seat webbing is taught. Red wool original cushions are in excellent vintage condition. The pale linen color seat cushions are new and fit snug in the seats. The blue and white bamboo pattern down pillows are also new (down inserts from Crate & Barrel, "Reva Blue" fabric by Kravet and currently sold by Ballard designs).
