An absolutely beautiful pair of vintage or antique traditional French curved twin headboards. The white paint on the wood is missing is some areas but this adds to the rustic charm of this pair. Note the carved wood roses and ornamental carved piping around the framework. The wood frames are strong and ready for use. The headboards were reupholstered at some point in the 21st century with an ivory woven stripe fabric which is still in good condition, despite minor discoloration from use, see photos. The front side of both headboards have been steam cleaned. Or an upholstery shop could easily reupholster the headboards with a fabric of your choice. Each headboard measures 47"H x 43.25"W x 21"D The widest area within the curved frame is 38.5" which will fit a twin size mattress, which is 38" wide. Please note that with a standard twin there will be a gap between the top of the mattress and the back of the headboard. This could be filled with a bolster pillow. Additional photos available upon request. In as found condition, commensurate with age and use. Some flaking white paint on the wood frame. Slight discoloration of the ivory fabric from use. Slight light ink mark low on one headboard. Seams where the wood frame has been joined at the curve is evident but stable.
