A beautiful early to mid 20th century subtlety colored etching of Persenberg Castle in Austria by listed artist Luigi Kasimir (1881-1962). The image is of a tree on the left at the edge of the Danube River with the castle in the background. Overall the image is black with white with subtle touches of brown, green, pink, and yellow. The etching is signed by the artist in pencil in the bottom center. The etching is beautifully framed in an ivory raw silk mat and a gold and green vintage wood frame.
The overall measurement of the frame is 18.75"H x 17.75"W x 1"D. The window in the mat that reveals the etching measures 10.25"H x 9.75"W.
Minor imperfections in the wood frame and silk slubs in the mat. Condition commensurate with age and use. In ready to hang condition.
