Antique Walnut Glass Door Bookcase With Blue Interior
This charming antique walnut bookcase dates to the late 1800s and has glass doors and two bottom drawers for storage. The interior features three adjustable shelves, each measuring 8.5" deep, and a blue and white stripe fabric panel has been inserted into the interior back to add an accent of color. The bookcase is topped with a removable spindle gallery. Original drawer pulls and hinges are intact; a faux key is included for opening the right door. The left door latches on the inside to the cabinet portion. The glass appears to be the original, as it is slightly wavy. At some point in time this piece was refinished and the wood is smooth and clean... ready to be filled with books and collectibles.
