This charming antique pine long settle bench would add a rustic touch to an entryway, dining area or hallway. The tall paneled backrest and armrests are beautifully crafted and give this piece substance. Flaws in the old pine... scratches, water stains, patches, etc lend to the rustic quality. A new, custom reversible cushion is included... blue and white stripe on one side, blue tweed on the other side. The backrest center panel is hinged and can flip down to create a writing surface (with a support added) though currently is it screwed in place and offers strong back support. Measures 59"H x 79"L x 20.75"D Bench has been waxed and buffed to a shine with Fiddes supreme wax in Clear and Stripped Pine. Perhaps from Eastern Europe. Collected in the Aspen, Colorado area. Condition commensurate with age and use. A sturdy bench, ready for many years of use. A rustic piece with imperfections in the wood that add to the charm. The custom reversible cushion is new.
