Antique Pine Nightstands Painted White with Gray Banding and Black Tops - a pair

A charming pair of antique 1920s or 1930s pine nighstands that have been recently distress painted  white in a Swedish style with gray banding around the apron and black painted tops. The nighstands each have a single drawer for storage with a brass knob pull. Note the gracefully carved curvilinear apron and the elegant cabriole turned legs. This pair of tables would be perfect in a bedroom where space is at a premium, or as side tables in a living room.

Condition commensurate with age and use. The professionally applied distress painting was recently applied and therefore there is no worry of lead paint, as you do with old white painted furniture. The surface has been sanded and is smooth to the touch with a light coat of varnish to protect the surface. Random imperfections in the wood, see photos, add to the charm of this pair.
