An absolutely charming antique early 1900s English Edwardian rustic natural pine chest of drawers dresser with a blue tromp-l'oeil French line around the perimeter of each drawers. The natural pine is light and bright and has imperfections in the wood, most notably the top, that add to the rustic charm of this pieces. The blue French line motif is a modern addition, in keeping with antique English dressers of this period that often had narrow decorative banding around the perimeter of each drawer. The natural pine drawer knobs are original to the piece. The old key with a new blue tassel turns in the locks, locking each drawer if desired! Measurements 43"H x 45.5"W x 19.25"D The arched feet at the base of the dresser add to the elegance of this piece. Condition commensurate with age and use. This is an old but very functional piece with the drawers gliding and locking. The casework construction is strong and sturdy, ready for many years of use.
