Antique English Edwardian Circa 1900 Painted Pine Dresser Chest of Drawers With Turned Feet
Antique English Edwardian Circa 1900 Painted Pine Dresser Chest of Drawers With Turned Feet
This Antique English Edwardian stately chest of drawers is made of pine and sits on oversize turned feet, adding a unique addition to your home decor. The dresser overall has the appearance of natural pine but when you look closely you realize it is actually painted a dijon color with darker brown grain paint. The dresser has 5 spacious drawers with handcut dovetails. The waxed finish gives the painted pine a rich glow while the dark wood pulls add eye catching contrast, as well as functionality. The dresser was manufactured around 1900, making it an antique piece. Additional photos available upon request.
Measures 48"high x 44.5"wide x 19"deep
Condition commensurate with age and use. Strong, sturdy piece ready for many years of use. Random scratches and small nicks and dents. Paint is modern and therefore lead free. Drawers glide smoothly. Turned feet are worn and cracked, see photos, but still strong and stable. The waxed finish gets better with age... just buff with a t-shirt to restore shine or remove smudges. The lock is missing from the top right drawer; other locks are intact but the key is missing.
