A beautiful, classic antique 1920s handmade English country painted two piece cabinet with old glass doors on the top and solid doors on the bottom. The cupboard is painted a creamy white... old white paint that has been color matched and touched up for a clean, antique look minor distressed areas. The interior of the cabinet, which is backed in shiplap, is painted a subtle blue gray. Three shelves behind the glass doors measure 6 5/8" deep x 35" wide and offer ample display space for the display of china, books and curios. The bottom portion has two solid doors that open to reveal interior storage that measures 15"deep x 35"wide. Measurements 88.25"H x 39"W x 18"D The cupboard doors, both top and bottom, have keys that lock while the left side doors both have latches that secure them to the interior shelves. This cupboard was collected in the UK. Top portion, space between shelves top to bottom: 8.25", 10.75", 11 7/8", 12" Bottom portion: space above shelf is 14.5", space below shelf is 15.75" The top portion of the cabinet, which attaches to the bottom portion with two brass screws inside the glass door portion, measures 49.25"high x 39"wide at the crown x 8"deep. The bottom portion measures 39"high x 39"wide x 18"deep. Condition commensurate with age and use. Random imperfections in the wood from age. A sturdy cabinet, ready for many years of use. Latches and key locks work well. Disassembles into 2 pieces easily for ease of movement. Feet on the cabinet are modern replacements.
