This elegant antique ice bucket was crafted by the St. Louis Silver Company, which was active from 1904-1912. The body was made of dense Flemish oak and ornamented with gorgeous art nouveau style water lilies in quadruple plate silver. St. Louis Silver Co. makers mark on the inside of the lid.
Measures 9.5"H x 6.75"DIA.
The silver has been lightly polished. Note that the silver has worn off in some areas, particularly on the lid. The interior has been cleaned but is slightly corroded. If you wanted to use this as an ice bucket it would need a plastic liner. The seams in the wood are tight with the exception of one seam that is separated by a hairline, yet the wood structure is still stable.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Silver has been lightly polished. Wood has been conditioned.
