A rustic, beautiful antique circa 1900 French worktable constructed out of pine that could be used as a dining table or in the center of an eat in kitchen. The old pine table top shows decades of distressing from used and the soft bleached pine color is likely from repeated cleaning with bleach water or soap. The simple square old light pine legs add to the rustic feel of this stunning table.
This table would seat 8 people comfortably with 3 chairs along the sides and one chair at either end. The spaced between legs on the long sides is 65". The space between legs at either end is 17.75". The top has been varnished with a waterbased finish making it easy to care for... just wipe down with a damp rag. Measures 30"H x 80"W x 30"D Condition commensurate with age and use. Note the distressed top that has been lightly sanded and varnished. The legs also show distressing from over a century of use. There are many imperfections in the wood overall but no jagged splinters. The entire table has been lightly sanded and varnished with a waterbased finish that has a very light sheen, making it easy to care for... just wipe down with a damp rag.
