A gorgeous antique circa 1900 English three bottle cut crystal and oak tantalus. The oak case is in good condition with a spring locking mechanism that latches the handle securely, but doesn't lock because the key is missing. The matching cut crystal bottles and are 9" tall, with the stopper, and 3.5" square. A chip is in the rim of one of the bottles, see last photo, but the bottle is still usable and stable. The bottle stoppers have very small chips in them, see photo, but still usuable. All fittings are silverplate over brass. Bottles fit snugly under the handle when latched. To remove bottles push down on the lock mechanism and the handle pivots to expose the bottles. The handle section is very worn with the brass exposed, see photos... likely from overpolishing of the silverplate.
Measures 12.5"H x 15"W x 6"D
Condition commensurate with age and use. Small chip on the lip of one of the bottles, see photo. Small chips in the crystal stoppers, see photo. Lock works for latching only, the key is missing. Silverplate has been worn off the handle and the brass is exposed.
