A gorgeous and functional antique late 1800s or very early 1900s Anglo-Indian British Colonial teak wood linen press. Beautiful floral carving accents the crown and top of each door. The teak is a rich caramel color though likely has been refinished at some point in time. Three pull out shelves and three campaign style drawers offer a large amount of storage. This cabinet is clean and ready to store linens. A beautiful green glass and brass handle is on the right hand door. The doors close easily, a latch on the left door inserts into the crown to hold it in place, the right door locks with a working brass key.
Measures 72.5"H x 49.75"W x 26.5"D
Condition commensurate with age and use. Very few flaws in the wood. I believe this piece was refinished at some point in time and that the original finish would have been darker. But the teak has a beautiful, clean finish and the drawers are clean and ready for linen storage. The left door latches tightly and the right door locks with a brass key.
