This charming late 19th century pine blanket chest has original blue and cream paint with a floral motif and original iron drawer pulls and hinges. Likely from Scandinavia or Eastern Europe this chest offers a a large amount of storage and is loaded with character. Inside the blanket chest is a candle box and two small storage drawers. The bottom portion is a drawer that pulls out with old iron handles. Note the wear patterns and scratches in the paint. 32"H x 48"W x 27.5"D Condition commensurate with age and use. Random scratches and abrasions are evident on the original paint but do not detract from the charm of this piece. Structurally sound and ready for many more years of use.
