A charming cast iron John Chatillon & Sons scale with original red paint and a large brass tray. The weight is fixed, moving from side to side. J. Chatillon & Sons is stamped on the weight bar. The red paint has a beautiful patina, as well as the brass tray. Perfect for decorative use on a kitchen counter as a fruit bowl. Measure 11"H x 24.5"W x 18"D In as found condition. Condition commensurate with age and use. The surface of the scale has old scratches from use. The brass tray is discolored from age and use, see photos.
