Antique 19th C. Painted Pine Dresser Chest of Drawers With Greek Key Motif

An absolutely stunning antique hand painted pine dresser with distressed antique white paint and blue French line motif. The top drawers are embellished with a trompe l'oeil Greek key motif. Note the Knapp joint drawer construction dating this dresser to 1870-1900. The drawers glide smoothly and offer plenty of storage. The dresser portion sits on elegant but sturdy turned legs. Antique brass tone ring handles are a beautiful accent. Key turns and serves as a pull for the top drawer.

Condition commensurate with age and use. Recently distress painted in an antique manner so no need to worry about lead paint, as you do with furniture that has old white paint. Note the random scratches in the paint, as well as areas of distressing. The turned feet are a modern addition. The dresser is strong and sturdy, ready for many years of use and enjoyment!
