A classic, stunning antique English (late Georgian or Victorian) mahogany dresser accented with ebonized mother-of-pearl inlay knobs. The casework is solid mahogany with dovetail construction which sits upon beautifully crafted bracket feet. The five drawers are trimmed with raised mahogany framing, glide beautifully and offer a good amount of storage. The original ebonized knobs with mother-of-pearl inlay are the element that really makes this dresser so eye-catching. This type of dresser has become difficult to find outside of the UK, making this an especially good buy within the U.S. Measures 38.25"H x 40"W x 20.5"D Condition commensurate with age and use. Scratches overall from age and use, most notably on the top and drawer fronts, see photos. Repairs have been made to the old knobs.
