A charming, rustic antique early 1900s English natural weathered pine farmhouse kitchen or dining table with turned legs and a distressed top. The wood is a pale pine color with warm gray tones running throughout, due to age and use. The structure of the table is strong and sturdy, seating eight people comfortably. Please note the old, inactive wormhole damage toward the ends of the table top as well as shallow cracks and splits. These rustic imperfections have been lightly sanded, smoothed and sealed with varnish so as not to interfere with modern use of the table. The table measures 30.5"H x 84"L x 37.5"D. Knee clearance (measurement from the floor to the bottom of the apron) is: 24.5" The space between legs on the long sides is 69". The space between legs on the short sides is 26". Condition commensurate with age and use. This table was left outside at some point in its life, which has led to wear and weathering, particularly noticeable on the turned legs. Note that the amount of weathering / gray coloring varies between the legs, stretchers and top. But this history has led to the table's unique coloring and rustic charm, with distressing on the top and legs. However this table has been restored and prepared for modern, daily use! The table was cleaned and lightly sanded to allow the natural woodgrain to shine through. The entire table has been sealed with a water-base varnish making it resistant to water rings, though caution is still advised to protect it from water and hot dishes, to best preserve the finish over time. Wipe down the table with a damp rag and dry to keep it clean and ready for use.
