This exquisite antique English mahogany Hepplewhite style bowfront buffet with brass pulls would be a stunning, classic addition to a dining room or entryway. Originally the two doors were locking drawers used to store liquor bottles but converted to doors, with a shelf added to the left side compartment, at some point, perhaps also in the early 1900s. Elegant, long handcut dovetails on each drawer. Expertly crafted exposed tenons evident on the back panel. Interior casework and back is pine and oak, with the exterior facing wood a thick mahogany veneer. The top gallery is solid mahogany. The turned legs with thin, dark wood banding are solid mahogany.
