This is a large painted ceremonial wooden drum with the original hide drum heads and new tympani like mallets. There are a few small areas of damage where the gesso & paint have peeled from the side of the drum and a small pin size hole in one of the heads. Made in Java, Indonesia, this drum is probably 15 to 20 years old. 36" High x 20" Diameter
